Luftbilder Ostseefjord Schlei, Schloss Gottorf, Anflug Norden | Schloss Gottorf in Schleswig: Auch das Husaren-Regiment Nr. 16 war bis zur Auflösung nach der Revolution von 1918 in Schleswig stationiert. Im Jahr 1945 wurden die letzten Soldaten abgezogen, und die Kaserne wurde aufgelöst. Seit 1948 übernahmen die Landesmuseen die Nutzung des Schlosses. Derzeit ist das Museum wegen Sanierungsarbeiten bis voraussichtlich 2028 geschlossen.
